Leicester Technology Park Cycle Bridge ref 3876
CTS installed this 60m long x 3.2m wide 3-span bridge onto steel columns at Leicester Technology Park using a 500 tonne crane. The spans were placed onto the columns and then site welded by CTS to connect the spans.
The vierendeel truss bridge has a Type A parapet 1.4m high with a stainless steel handrail which incorporates integral lighting.
CTS supplied the steel deck which was shot blased and primed prior to Amacophalt overlay being applied by others.
