Economical Solutions

Steel and timber combinations are the most economical bridge style when spanning between 10m and 20m long and this style of bridge offers the most choice when deciding on style.

The steel beams beams can be flat or cambered, galvanised or painted.

The parapet can be softwood or hardwood and Type A or Type B.

The deck can be softwood or hardwood with Hi-Grip Excel or Hi-Grip Standard surfacing (see Hi-Grip Decking spec sheet

These practical bridges can be delivered assembled or in kit form.

The bridges can be adapted for cyclists or horse riders by including the design criteria for bridleway or cycleway bridges.

Overall they provide a functional, economical, durable style of bridge

Steel and timber combinations are ideal for bridge spans from 10m up to 25m. The beams can be flat or cambered, galvanised, painted or fitted with a timber fascia to give the appearance of an all timber bridge. The parapet material can be hardwood or softwood and the deck can be hardwood, softwood or steel.
