Cable Stay Bridge, Attingham Park - Ref 3241

CTS planned a safe and controlled demolition to remove an existing timber framed suspension bridge prior to installing a new 42m long cable stay bridge in the heart of the grounds of Attingham Park for the National Trust.  Access was a key constraint on this scheme with aluminium trackway and heavy bog mats required to allow the delivery vehicle and craneage.  The main bridge was delivered in three sections to reduce the lift weight within the capacity of the maximum sized mobile crane.
